a winning contender in a firm-wide design sprint during my co-op time at Corgan, a leading architecture and design firm in dallas, texas.
rover :
a multi-purpose stamp (stool + lamp!) designed for the traveler who seeks clarity and beauty in everyday essentials.
inspired by a recent trip to the southwest and confronting the reality of moving.
the dilemma:

is there a way you can hold onto precious objects? and how can you take it with you while not taking up too much space?
sustainable
using only wood and a lightbulb.
design objective.
interactive
ability to control light source direction.
created by someone who lacks space, each piece of “the rover” is able to be assembled and disassembled in less than 5 minutes to ease your moving loads.
inspired by my newfound love for the laid-back western environment: warm woods, soft textures, and the white, ever-changing sun.
